#STUDENTSOFWESTERN : CAPTURING THE STORIES AND JOURNEY OF STUDENTS AT WESTERN WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY

During my final quarter at Western I was selected by professor Maria McLeod to work on an independent study campaign called #StudentsOfWestern. The objective was to increase the visibility of the diverse student body, especially those populations that are historically under-represented.

Did a project for class on someone that impacts the community, so I chose to do it on John Hanneman, Western Washington University's Viking Union custodian. I've been blessed to meet such an inspiring stranger.. now friend. Hope he leaves a mark on your heart too. "Talk nicely to yourself and to others."
